Soulbath Peace Foundation reached out to 119 children, from 4 different schools, assembled at Police Public School, Koramangala, with sole purpose of celebrating the Universal Children's day on Nov. 20th 2012.
Soulbath Peace Foundation has been working very closely with the Police Public school since last 3 months . CORPORitual values of living was introduced & incorporated in their daily schedule , with much enthusiasm & acceptance and at all levels of Students, teachers students& parents . For today's event , Std. VIII B were chosen as the host of the day and were a part of planning , execution & taking care of the small details of the event... a responsibility which the children shouldered with great enthusiasm & with heart touching smiles. They not only made CORPOitual Posters for the venue almost 5 days back , but swept, mopped & washed the lobby of the school where the event was scheduled...all worked together & helped each other with innovative ideas for various tiny bits. The best part being the class even volunteering to remove the cobwebs from the ceiling & even termite infested woods & card board boxes from under the steps ...
On the D- Day , they were at their best behavior and occupied all places of work designated to them quite promptly & readily. Slowly, the children from other schools started to come to the venue. Parikrma was the first school to come in with their children.. They were given a warm welcome by the PPS students & at the Registration counter they were sorted into different activities, which were being held at different spots & led to the areas allotted for the same. All this was done by the students volunteers & SPF Volunteers, together... in perfect coordination. The meetings, discussions, Planning prior to the event helped the smooth flow of the work tremendously...
The work day begun & slowly the "Feedback Specialist " came in too... They were all Corporate, some of them closely associated with Soulbath Peace Foundation , while others were sponsors or someone who has been touched by the work in some way or the other..All were pretty happy to see the activities showcasing the children's talents & collaborative skills. They were all of the same voice that this variation of giving is not experienced by them before. It was touching to see Mr. Narayan T.S. G.M. Sales - Trident Hyundai , says that " All branding does not need a display or banner , This is a unique & a new way of branding , through skills & talents & lots of creativity , I being an artist myself , am really excited to see what the children came up with today. It is very nice & innovative..& very different type of work. "
In the Poster making section ,the children of Association of Disabled , started by using lots of eraser in their poster making , but when asked not to use erasers & let the posters be made in the very first attempt , as perfection is not the mantra.. & that each stroke is correct. They were surprised at first , but then very enthusiastically plunged in the work & brought forth "straight from heart " creations...along with other children from Sheila Kothawala Institute of Deaf , Parikrama & Police Public Schools.
The Dance & movement room was full of music with young learners moving in thier natural space & rhythm .. some could not even hear the music , like the children from SKID & a Few from APD, but they all danced.. they did not worry about perfect steps & body movements at all..they were in a team & they had to be in sync .. that was all... rest just happened..
Bursting with spontaneous imagination, & ideas were the next two rooms named the Go Green Footprints & the New Age Newspapers . Here the young enthusiasts came with innovation & vivid imagination to deal with the most talked about & burning Global issues ..Not only this , they were also particular about advertising their products, like the paper bags, baskets etc. & using the right words to sell it also..whether via a small street show, skit or verbally . The newspapers carried assorted reports on the current issues & care was taken to name each newspaper artistically & creatively too. Mr. Mani Maran (CSR Head Orange for UST Global) , a feedback specialist in this section , observed quite enthusiastically that , " my biggest learning is that , from today on wards I shall put my best foot forward to give back to the environment & make it green again."
What touched the Police Public School Principal was the Leadership skills shown the PPS children in pushing the wheel chairs of the Association Of People with Disability children, guiding & leading them to the various event locations, serving them food with kindness & most important of all , participating willingly in all of the above activities too. She asked rest of the classes , along with their respective class teachers , to form a queue & come to the venue in silence to observe the celebrations . She repeatedly told that she is " full of hope on seeing her students exhibit not only dancing & drawing skills , but also exhibiting unique Leadership qualities today !"
There was fun, laughter, happiness & lots of hope in each & every child & Volunteer's heart today. There was oneness, collaboration & an urge to give more in each one present today. As Vidya U Head HR William Penn said " All I experienced today was a deep sense of fulfillment ". The remarkable thing which deserves a special mention here is the National Anthem which the SKID Children performed through their action , along with us all. It just brought Gratitude for all the teachers who made it happen.
Gratitude to Soulbath Peace Foundation for this Unique celebration of the Universal Children's day . This day has been celebrated before too & every time in a beautiful manner too..but what made today special was the happiness which was not contained amidst one set of children from one school only ..Happiness was sprinkled amidst - under privileged children, physically dis-abled children, Deaf & Dumb children & the child in each one of us too!
The day culminated with the group of volunteers visiting the neighbouring Govt. Primary school campus along with 15 children from PPS, as a part of Act Of Compassion . The children along with SPF Volunteers distributed fruits to the passer byes in that campus & then went to the Police canteen to offer the fruits to the Constables having their lunch there. They spoke very smartly about the RAJ BHOWMIK BACK TO SOCIETY DREAM being celebrated as Universal Children's day & gave the fruits to them , with lots of gentleness & kindness. It touched the people eating there.
It was a blessed day indeed , when, the child became our teacher and taught us admist several other things that how important it is to be yourself & work selflessly , with out expecting any prizes & accolades for the work . They just wanted to work because they loved it. That was the secret of the successful celebration of Universal Children's day today.
Thank You Soulbath Peace Foundation & Raj, for making this day so fulfilling & full of hope , love, joy & Purpose...As rightly said by Sri Raj Bhowmik - " Success no doubt will always be around the corner if you have the burning fire to succeed inside you. But, if your life's goal is directed towards serving humanity and doing something good for mankind in some manner , then, you will begin to experience your life as a magical expression of Divine intervention , and you can generate all the wealth that you want , along with happiness & joy overflowing in your life. And that will bring you the true joy & the true meaning of success Nothing else is even close to success."

The Universal Children’s day on November 20, 2012 is very special in every way from all the other events organized till now by Soul bath Peace Foundation. The uniqueness was expressed in the way the various events as part of the Raj Bhowmik Back To Society DREAM were organized and conducted by the volunteers who included children and adults. Children’s interacting with children is the main attractive and the unique part of this event. The teams from four different schools which served the under privileged and differently able children in the society participated in the event. The children were very spontaneous and creative in their activities and presentation. This event showed how barriers of language, ability, physical challenge can be broken through hope, peace and compassion. The different events conducted like designing a new age newspaper , designing a bag using the theme of go green foot prints , conveying the message of peace and compassion through dance and poster making brought out the child’s best ability to create, the team work helped them collaborate , negotiate and brought out all the aspects of a good leader in them. These events helped each and every child connect to the leader in them thus spreading the CORPORitual values of living which forms the basis of an effective leader. The National anthem sung in the sign language was the most heart touching part of the entire event.
Nandini Sabanayagam: (General Manager, UST Global)
Through this RB-BTS DREAM Interacion I learnt how easy it was to learn as children had no previous baggages, they were unquestionable and ready to learn. Children improvised spontaneously and were very resilient. The RB-BTS DREAM leaves a lasting impact and there is a lot of effort that has been put in. I thank Raj and Soulbath Peace Foundation for this opportunity to interact with people and experience humanity from all walks of life. It was heartening to see how everybody was contributing in their own way towards a common cause. I feel immensely inspired.
Vidya U (Head HR, William Penn)
It was great to experience for people like us who are so engrossed in our everyday life that we don’t manage time. The RB-BTS DREAM Platform was more human. I had tears in my eyes when I think about what I felt today. We crib for the silly things in life. The courage & strength that kids felt towards being complete inspite of their physical challenges moved me and gave me a lot of strength.
Mr. Simha (Expert Consultant, Defense)
I felt I was a kid and realized the importance and value of being normal. Involvement of the children was amazing and each of them had their potentials. A lot of times, we look at the visual and sensory stimulus that causes pleasure and we make meaning of it. However , I experienced what we can do with our senses. I saw children enjoying with a few senses that they had and it was heartening to see their happiness through it. We are having 6 senses but using just 10% of our senses at a given point in time. I congratulate Sri Raj Bhowmik for choosing people who are selfless & ready to contribute as part of the RB-BTS DREAM.
Mridula Sankhyayan (Vice President, Goldman Sachs)
The presentation of the children about Go Green Initiative surprised me with their good energy. I really want to mentor some of them as a contribution. Raj , I felt good where there was no pomp or show. The RB-BTS DREAM experience is authentic, true & real. There was compassion & truthfulness and no other agenda.
Mani Maran (Orange Head for CSR Initiatives at UST Global Foundation): I appreciated every participant and their efforts. They shared ideas and we can certainly help them. The RB-BTS DREAM platform gives an opportunity and it was a wonderful experience.
Anusri U (Manager Sales, 9 X Media)
I felt very happy connecting with the kids. It was heart touching to see different abilities of children connecting with each other. There was no need to talk too much as everybody felt like they understood. Even though I am pregnant in the 8th month, I felt very normal like others. I thank Sri Raj Bhowmik for giving me His energy and helping me be part of this RB-BTS DREAM Act Of Compassion.
Swaati Birje: (Special Educator at Srishti Special Academy)
I thank Raj for the platform to experience and be part of the event. His Divine Presence made things happen for us as many things got cancelled automatically for me to be here. It was humbling and we felt joy to perform The Circle time in the concluding session helped me realize that no matter how big or small people were, everybody felt acknowledged. I received lot of happiness and love. The Silent National Anthem was mind blowing as I didn’t know our National Anthem could be sung in that way too.
Shailja Chawla (Team Lead, Northern Trust)
The RB-BTS DREAM gave me different messages and one could see how children perceived global peace and harmony in different ways. It was an opportunity to see how an organized platform could reach out to so many. The merging of the children from different schools and abilities were only seen as they drew but once completed all looked the same. The differentiation is in our minds. No difference actually exists. It is our mind that creates the barriers.
Mili Chakraborty (Coordinator, Raj Bhowmik Child Care Centre, Purva Riviera)
The opportunity to participate in the RB-BTS DREAM has always come without asking. It was heart touching to be at the reception and seeing the Work of the children. I am able to understand my son a little more after this experience. The RB-BTS DREAM Platform always feels like one platform and I was observing. The power of being ONE was experienced at the Circle time as we all forgot the big and small and any other difference. I am grateful to Soulbath Peace Foundation and Sri Raj Bhowmik from the bottom of my heart.
Mr. Narayan ( General Manager Sales, Sapphire Motors Pvt Ltd)
Soulbath Peace Foundation is a platform that has recognized the Talents inside human beings. It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase what children have within them inside. It is a great feeling.
Ruby Bana (Chief Intelligence Officer Madisson Media)
It is the same beautiful experience every time at RB-BTS DREAM. The turn out has been larger this year and children were seeing taking ownership of their learning. The Thinking and the choreography was just amazing. It was good to see interactions between children and respect. Children were awaiting feedback and they were also curious.
Lakshmi Arvind (IBM India Pvt Ltd)
Through the RB-BTS DREAM Platform I learnt that there is so much to learn and so much of goodness inside each one of us and yet we want to be in a crowd. I wish to thank Raj to consider me for this platform and providing an opportunity where I could give in my small little way. It was heart touching to see everyone together of varied abilities blending well were everybody was happy.
Sowmya Anil (Teacher @ Parikrma Humanity Foundation)
Soulbath Peace Foundation organized he event very well. It was a creative atmosphere and our children really had their creative juices flowing. They made new friends with varied abilities. The children loved the silent national anthem and no body was bored. The RB-BTS DREAM Voluneers at every step boosted the morale of children and we could feel their warmth. All children from our school too reciprocated by behaving well.
Robbert Allenn (Head HR Bostik India)
Initially when children began they had a blank look but they taught me how essential are the first few steps. They began picking inspiration from each other. It was beautiful to see how every min could think something so unique. The spontaneity of the RB-BTS DREAM Platform touched me. I have a real sense of Gratitude for Raj for giving this RB-BTS DREAM platform. There was a calling for this program today and now I know why.
Manjula Shetty (Principal Police Public School)
The RB-BTS DREAM is a worthwhile endeavour and worth experiencing it and living it. There is a high philosophy in it and yet so simple to act. I want to tell Sri Raj Bhowmik that we are with Him in spreading the CORPORitual Message.
Bhanumathi: I learnt the lesson of being spontaneous from the children. It just flowed through them. Thank You Raj for this opportunity to observe children so closely and be inspired by their energy level.
Vudaiy Vallabhu (Project Manager, IBM) I was inspired by the children and teachers. I am really thankful to Sri Raj Bhowmik for every such event that I am given an opportunity. I am grateful for every realization.
