Raj Bhowmik 759
The RB-BTS DREAM TEAM introduced Human Rights and its impact and violation in our every day life. This was effectively experienced using Image Theatre and spontaneous communication.
Children then extrapolated and understood the same context between nations resulting in Wars, peace treaties failing, negotiations & larger impact on human consciousness, economic and the severe impact on children in families across the world.

From the UN Guidelines " Human Rights Day presents an opportunity, every year, to celebrate human
rights, highlight a specific issue, and advocate for the full enjoyment of all
human rights by everyone everywhere. This year, the spotlight is on the rights of all people — women, youth,
minorities, persons with disabilities, indigenous people, the poor and
marginalized — to make their voices heard in public life and be included in
political decision-making.”
RB-BTS DREAM TEAM Volunteer Speaks
On the occasion of World Human Rights day and the International Day of Broadcasting for children the Raj Bhowmik Back To Society Dream today reached Parikrma Humanity Foundation with a very thought provoking and motivating CORPORitual workshop. A group of 28 children and three teachers assembled in a room where the event was conducted. After introducing the Soulbath Peace Foundation the children were shown the RBBTS film. All the kids were very touched by the film and could relate completely to the act of compassion and connect to the human rights which were the main topic of discussion. A small play was enacted involving the kids which showed how holding on to the same emotion for long changes the responses from the environment and how a person who has been rigid over a period of time can actually be touched and the rigidity broken through compassion. The same concept was then extended to a larger scenario where countries were involved quoting examples of two different countries where one of the countries citizens and the next generation are deprived of their fundamental rights on their natural reserves , their fundamental right to live and express and the other country misusing the power of money to gain command over the world violating the basic fundamental rights of many humans when one part of their own country is suffering from poverty where there is no electricity and the children are deprived of their right to education. This discussion broke all the barriers where the importance of negotiation and collaboration, the two essential leadership qualities were discussed. This was followed by a small exercise after which children felt more responsible towards Mother Earth and towards themselves. The session was concluded with a beautiful song which aspires to build a beautiful Earth were all people live in peace and harmony. The children gave their message to the world on this world Human rights day about peace and unity.
REFLECTION From Student & Teacher Participants
The whole CORPORitual Session using Theatre & Empathy was very moving and thought provoking. Humanity is a very big word. There is lot to be done to bridge the gaps.

As the session begins with a good motive i.e humanity, I am feeling proud to be a part of this wonderful session. On this world humanity day conducting programs among the children, collecting their views, feels very good. As a human being I will start from my family especially my children of Parikrama. We will come up with even more productive in this.- Sangeetha, Computer science teacher.
If the world has understanding then we can create unity. Human beings need freedom.
It was a good experience, changed our opinions. The Soulbath Peace Foundation session leed us to think freely. We got an awareness towards our society and the world.
