CORPORitual Parenting:
Creating Literate Children of the 21st Century @ Delhi's first CORPORitual School
Anubhav Learning Centre
Raj Bhowmik 413
“Literacy is a fundamental human right and the foundation for lifelong learning. It is fully essential to social and human development in its ability to transform lives. For individuals, families, and societies alike, it is an instrument of empowerment to improve one’s health, one’s income, and one’s relationship with the world." from UNESCO
Today, 8th September being the World Literacy Day, Soulbath Peace Foundation’s SAHHEAL Counseling and Healing Centre, New Delhi connected parents and educators to the CORPORitual essence. Anubhav Learning Centre was just the appropriate set up for the workshop. There were 13 participants in all. Most of them were parents associated with Anubhav. Four team members of Anubhav also formed a part of the group. The group was very homogeneous in terms of age, professional abilities and their challenges.
All the parents who carried the CORPORitual essence today are braving some or the other challenge with respect to their children. This includes hearing disability, autism, visual impairment, special gluten allergy. One of the couple who came is challenging to “become” parents. It was very mystic to have such a group today. One of the participants, the father of the child with hearing disability attended the workshop the second time. Yet another participant, the father of an autistic child, is himself on anti depressants.
All the participants were at ease. Very beautifully they connected with their inner self and experienced silence; the most rare space with the young parents of today. Self reflection and introspection exercises were a real turning point. There was a sea shift in the way the group members perceived themselves at the beginning of the program and that towards the end. To illustrate, the “charming -------“ realigned to learner and supporter. The “friendly _____” turned to forgiving….and so on and so forth.
The group with rapt attention took back the very strong message of Our Founder Sri Raj Bhowmik, “Life tends to shovel dirt on top of each of us from time to time. The trick is to shake it off and take a step up.”
It is important to make our children literate in terms of Health, wellbeing and the choices they make in terms of their daily routine. Their parents are the foundation and CORPORitual Parenting helped them move beyond the right & wrongs and focus on helping children make better choices in the 21st century.

RAJEEV AGARWAL, Retired - It was an enlightening session which I will try to use for me and my family’s benefit by practicing what I learnt today at the CVOL Workshop.
VAIBHAV JAISWAL, Racket internet- The session was good ; an eye opener for me. I got some time to think about myself and also the speaker. I do hope to practice and spend some silent time with myself and do what I have I loved the most.
ANU NAVANI, Home maker- Through this session I could meet myself and realized the value of living. It was relaxing and had a feeling of fulfilment.
DHIRAJ NAVANI, Owner, Kamini Constructions- Experienced the precious moments of self realization.
IRAM JAFRI, Quadrangle- this workshop made me be with myself for few hours, which usually never happens in the hectic lifestyle of today. I got to sit peacefully and experienced some stress free moments. I actually felt that there is a lot to do in life for others apart from ourselves. Thanks to CORPORitual Values Of Living
SATISH KUMAR, Mavis Web Technologies Pvt Ltd- The workshop realizes/ reminded us of thinking and looking at our inner side of body which needs some quality time for our self to live life with happiness/ peace/ sharing/ guiding/ supporting others in the possible way. The CVOL facilitator really helped us to understand and value life in today’s era.
MITA ROY, Day Care Incharge, Anubhav - Now onwards I will start thinking about different aspects of my life. I will also sit in silence everyday for at least 10 minutes, because after this experience, I came to know how important it is to give yourself some personal time.
NISHA DUBEY, Day Care Supervisor, Anubhav - I got good experience. It was a peaceful session.
GARIMA PAL, Special Educator, Anubhav It’s a very good experience to attend this beautiful workshop. The CORPORitual Values explanation and guided reflective exercises were thought provoking and relaxing. I really identified with my true self.
PRIYANKA SETHI, Counsellor, Anubhav - I was a bit confused before I came here for the workshop, did not know what is it all about, had too many questions, doubts in my mind. After attending it I have realized that in day to day rush of life , we are getting to become just like mechanical robots, and what we want, what we are … we don’t know…?? And just want people to be the way we want, we like- but if it comes to us we are negative … but now there is a self realization to change my inner self first… thanks to the workshop.
ASHISH SHARMA, Centre for Railway Information Systems- Thought provoking processes of everyday living were explained. Certainly first time in life, I went inwards and not outwards and felt something different. Just need to put into practice these 4 CORPORitual Values to accrue maximum benefit from these values. Process was explained with lots of examples enabling us to link with the values.
ADITEE GULATI, Consultant- The CORPORitual experience was really beautiful. I can find a new person within myself. I feel regenerated and much more fulfilled. I liked the process by which I travelled within myself and understood myself much better.
