A heart touching Donation from Andhra Pradesh
From a humble background in Chorumpudi, village in Bantumilli Mandal of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh, India, Veer Raju came to Bangalore to find better prospects of earning a living for himself. The start was mild and humble and the journey has been fulfilling to also create Impact being the Raj Bhowmik Social Impact Citizen Ambassador.
Veer Raju began work in Bangalore in a local hotel and thereafter became a Volunteer at Soulbath Peace Foundation for a brief period. During this time, his work profile got him very closely associated to the CORPORitual Values Of Living & the Guidance & Inspiration provided by Sri Raj Bhowmik.
Veer Raju was an Officer Cleaner and Helper at Soulbath Peace Foundation where he participated in Programs associated with HIV+ Women during that time. He began by serving tea, managing visitors, cleaning & mopping floors, making breakfast & cleaning toilets. Since then, Veer Raju in his own words says “his life has found a new meaning and a new direction”
Immediately after his volunteering at SPF, with the Blessings & Guidance of Sri Raj Bhowmik, he soon got an offer to set up a shop that sold Burgers and through SPF Annual Event of the Raj Bhowmik Global Compassion Day on May 10th Veer Raju mobilized more than 200 families (ie) 400 individuals in his native village Chorampudi to participate in this RBGCD on May 10th. He has been engaged in it now for 3 years. Veer Raju also mobilized Life Enriching CORPORitual Workshops in the Govt Schools of Chorampudi Village to 100s of Students & Teachers in the govt School & Village women in 2012.
Veer Raju through his dedication & connection always wanted to give a little more to the Soulbath Peace Foundation that changed his life and then started supplying water cans and Volunteering for larger events at SPF. Opportunities opened up for him in his work life, when his manager gave a proposal for him to open a Business in Burgers. Today Veer Raju is mobilizing youth from Andhra Pradesh Chorampudi and building a group that he is supporting through employment in just 3 years thus living an entrepreneurs dream creating sustainable livelihood options among youth. The most humbling gesture is that without fail he offers Rs 200 every month as a Donation to Soulbath Peace Foundation coming at the doors of SPF and personally contributing through this heart touching gesture.

1. Why do you make this Offering every month?
I want to give because it is all a circle. It comes back in various forms.
2. What do you feel offering Service at SPF?
I experience Satisfaction & Fulfillment. SPF has helped me in earning good name in Bangalore. After working here, all the other opportunities have opened up. I want to grow more so that I can give back more
