CORPORitual ignites “Purpose In Action“ in
Ericsson Leadership
Raj Bhowmik 101
On a busy morning, the CORPORitual Workshop was attended by 23 individuals at diverse levels from Customer Support, Project managers, Architects and General Managers. With the diversity in the experience and the personalities of the individuals the CVOL Workshop had some burning questions coming from the participants about “Living Life”
Beginning with the wheel of Living today and its impacts on our being the Workshop reinforced the CORPORitual Values from a real reference point – their living today – With changing gadgets, demanding relationships, fast paced lifestyle, media magnification, individuals realized the commonality of living – “The Being” and the fragrance that we carry across every relationships – in the web, energy passes on and build up just like the food chain.
There were questions about “I am happy? What more do I need?” brought about clarity in the subjectivity of happiness and its impact at different levels in our existence. How we associate a word with different levels of energy from excitement to contentment and each is also associated strongly with Happiness and how they have varying impacts and practical action points in our life.
The CORPORitual Values of Practice Compassion and Giving Back in Relationships from a space that is beyond the ego – for a larger good and cause, inspired the individuals that was evident along their sharing sessions when one of the participants reflected that “This session has inspired me to give back to the community that was a strong desire.”
Experiencing Success and pausing to reflect its impact on the body was an experience that was moving for many to feel the sense of connectedness within the teams and a larger organization. From constantly checking mobile phones, to smiles that were content towards the end of the CORPORitual Workshop reflected the allowing and the assimilation in the Ericsson Employees who were very well engaged.
Participants eagerly contributed to aspects of living everyday that are dynamically changing – a known area or learned in the corporate sector about flexibility, pausing, reflecting, adapting to actually mapping that to living life was very reflective. The entire CORPORitual Session was facilitated to first understand the current reference point, to see the glaring beliefs that we carry and then to gently understand a way that is easy & practical to living – CORPORitual.
The CORPORitual Values of Living Workshop also impacted the thinking of individuals and their contribution quotient as participants from the Workshop also engaged themselves extensively through the Raj Bhowmik Back-To-Society Day Global Engagement on May 10th thus living CVOL in Action.

Reflections from CORPORitual Participants
Nidhi kohli, Customer Project Manager - It is an informative and experiential workshop .Thank you for bringing it to us. I would request also to enhance the module on CORPORitual values e.g. manifest your purpose of presence – which we read and hear very often but rarely is actually lived or known.
Sanjay Kumar, General Manager - I enjoyed the session, specifically the one which allowed me to retrospect myself.
Chandrakant Pattekar, (General Manager) - This workshop has helped me to understand better and perceive my thoughts about life, work place and living.
Manoj Gourisaria (General Manager) - It was good to spend some time with myself.
Prabir Bishayee (Head - Business Analyst Practice) - It was a nice experience attending the workshop and have to mention it is quite unique. My suggestion will be to have an integrated workshop with the behavioral learning team at Ericsson. I found it enlightening.
Nilesh Sinha (General Manager) - It was good to connect with self. It is a very relaxing and fulfilling experience.
